Stay near Shinjuku: access and luggage storage | SLL Urban Suites Nakano Shinbashi

What should you do with your suitcase if you arrive before 4:00 PM—when you can check into your room—or when heading to Shinjuku on the day of your departure? SLL Urban Suites Nakano-Shinbashi is an apartment-style accommodation located about a 3-minute walk from Nakano-Shinbashi Station in Nakano Ward, Tokyo, and offers a self-service luggage storage area in the ground-floor lobby. Once you’ve dropped off your luggage, it’s about an 11-minute door-to-door train ride to Shinjuku Station.

Arrival Date: No matter what time you arrive, first drop off your luggage in the ground-floor lobby.

There is a self-service luggage storage area in the common area just inside the automatic doors on the ground floor. On the day of your arrival, you can leave your luggage there at any time without prior notice (the access code for the ground-floor entrance is valid at any time on the day of your arrival). You can check into your room starting at 4:00 PM. Once you’ve left your luggage, please send a brief message via the booking site stating, “I’ve left my luggage.”

To Shinjuku: About 11 minutes door-to-door on the Marunouchi Line to Shinjuku Station

Take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line toward Nakano-Sakaue, heading toward Nishi-Shinjuku and Shinjuku. While some trains run directly to Shinjuku, if you’re on a train that terminates at Nakano-Sakaue, you’ll need to transfer at Nakano-Sakaue Station. The travel times listed are estimates from Google Maps, so please check the route based on your departure time.

Departure Date: After checking out, leave your luggage on the ground floor until 11:00 p.m. and spend the evening in Shinjuku.

Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. (11:00 a.m. if you booked directly through the official website). You can leave your luggage in the self-service luggage storage area on the ground floor until 11:00 p.m. on the day of departure, so you can spend the evening in Shinjuku until your evening trip. It takes about 40 to 50 minutes by train to Haneda Airport.

Nakano Shinbashi room types: guests, bedrooms and size

This is a self-service luggage storage area, not a reception desk staffed by employees.

The luggage storage area is unstaffed and self-service. Place your suitcase in an empty rack, then set any 4-digit combination on the provided wire and lock to secure it. Since the number of racks is limited, if you have a lot of luggage, please thread 2–3 pieces through the wire together and lock them. There is no limit on the number of bags you can store. Please do not leave valuables in the luggage storage area; keep them with you at all times (you are solely responsible for your belongings). There are no coin-operated lockers in the vicinity of Nakano-Shinbashi Station.

If you use the washer-dryer in your room, you can pack fewer clothes.

The six rooms other than Room 201 are equipped with washer-dryers and detergent, so you can travel light by packing fewer changes of clothes. Guests staying in Room 201 can use the 24-hour coin-operated laundromat, which is a 2-minute walk away.
